The air conditioner had been raining on the roof for years

The photo at the top of this page. The low-slope section came off and went back as single-ply membrane, with every penetration given a proper boot flashed into the sheet rather than sealed around afterwards.
Six thousand five hundred. The pitched planes either side weren’t touched, because they didn’t need to be — the failure was confined to the section that had no fall to it, and that’s the section that got replaced.
