First things first

Find out what you need before you work out how to pay for it

Plenty of roofing companies lead with the monthly payment. It works, and it’s backwards.

If nobody has been under your tile or into your attic, nobody knows yet whether you’re looking at a $1,200 repair, a $16,000 relay or a full replacement. Financing a number that big before anyone has diagnosed the roof is how people end up paying for five years on work they didn’t need.

It isn’t a $28,000 decision. It’s a monthly one — and it starts with finding out if you even need it.

So the order here is simple. Free inspection, video of what’s actually failing, a written flat-rate price. Then, if the number is more than you want to write a check for today, we’ll walk you through the options.

The options

What’s available

Approval and terms depend on credit. These are the programs we can put in front of you, not a guarantee of what you’ll be offered.

ProgramTerm
0% interest6 months – 5 years
Long-term promotional, 4.99% APRUp to 12 years

All financing is on approved credit. Rates, terms and approval amounts vary by qualification, and the program you’re offered depends on the lender’s decision rather than ours. We’ll show you the actual terms before you commit to anything.

Who lends

Four lenders, one conversation

Service Finance

Home improvement lending, widely used for roofing. Longer terms and promotional rate programs.

GoodLeap

Sustainable home improvement lending. Often the route for roof work paired with solar or efficiency upgrades.

Renew Financial

California-focused home improvement financing with a range of term options.

Wisetack

Quick application, useful for smaller amounts — repairs rather than full replacements.

You don’t have to work out which one fits. We put the job in front of the lenders that suit the amount and the timeline, and you choose from what comes back.

Worth knowing

Repairs can be financed too

Most people assume financing is for a full replacement. It isn’t. A $2,000–$4,500 repair across multiple areas can go on a short-term plan just as easily, and often at 0%.

That matters, because the alternative is putting off a repair until it becomes a replacement. We’ve opened up roofs where a leak somebody deferred for two winters turned into rotted sheathing and a five-figure job.

If the honest answer is that your roof needs a repair rather than a replacement, that’s what we’ll quote — and there’s still a way to spread it.

How it works

Four steps, no obligation at any of them

1 — Free inspection

We come out, record what’s failing, and show you the footage. No charge, no obligation, and you keep the video.

2 — Written price

A flat-rate price for the work your roof actually needs. Not a range that moves once we’re up there.

3 — Options, if you want them

If you’d rather spread the cost, we’ll put the job to the lenders and bring you back the terms you qualify for.

4 — You decide

Pay outright, finance it, or take the video and think about it. Nobody is going to sit in your kitchen until you sign.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Does applying affect my credit?

That depends on the lender and the stage of the application — some run a soft check to pre-qualify and a hard check only when you accept. We’ll tell you which applies before anything is submitted, and the lender’s own disclosures will spell it out.

Do I have to finance through you?

No. Plenty of customers use a home equity line, a credit union, or just write a check. These options exist because they’re convenient, not because you’re obliged to use them.

Can I finance a repair, not just a replacement?

Yes. Short-term plans work well for repairs in the $2,000–$4,500 range, and often at 0%. Smaller single-issue repairs are usually not worth financing, and we’ll say so.

What if I’m not approved?

Then we look at what else is possible — a smaller scope, doing the urgent section now and the rest later, or a temporary repair to stop damage while you sort things out. A declined application doesn’t mean you’re stuck with a leaking roof.

Is there a prepayment penalty?

That’s set by the lender, not by us, and it varies by program. Ask before you sign — and read the disclosures, because that’s where the answer lives.

Do you charge more if I finance?

No. The price for the work is the price for the work. What changes is when you pay it, not what it costs.
